Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 130 543 tonnes during February 2014.
According to data released by the South African Revenue Service, imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) amount to 130 543 tonnes during February 2014, an increase of 41,7% compared with 92 096 tonnes imported during January 2014 and an increase of 11,2% compared with 117 362 tonnes imported during February 2013.
Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) during the first two months of 2014 amount to 222 639 tonnes, an increase of 5,2% compared with 211 716 tonnes of primary carbon and alloy steel products imported during the corresponding period of 2013.
Imports of primary carbon and alloy steel products (excluding semis, stainless steel and drawn wire) during the twelve months March 2013 to February 2014 amount to 1 350 534 tonnes, an increase of 48,6% compared with 908 996 tonnes of primary carbon and alloy steel products imported during the corresponding twelve month period.
