CHANGE IN DIRECTORATE
In compliance with rule 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements the Board of Directors (“Board”) of the Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jan
Valenta, currently executive director of the Board, as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, with effect from 15 April 2014.
Mr Valenta will succeed Mr Michael Dennis Garcia, who has resigned as executive director from the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
Mr Valenta is a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and holds a Master's degree in Economics from Charles University, Prague. Mr Valenta was appointed to the Board on 15
November 2011 and to date held the position of Financial Director of the Company.
Prior to his appointment at the Company Mr Valenta held the position of deputy Chief Financial Officer at EVRAZ VITKOVICE STEEL.
The Company wishes to thank Mr Garcia for his invaluable contribution to the Board and to the Company.
The Board of the Company further wishes to announce the appointment of Ms Olga Luzik, as a director of the Board and as Financial Director of the Company, with effect from 15 April 2014.
Ms Luzik will succeed Mr Jan Valenta, who was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Company.
Ms Luzik has been in the employment of EVRAZ since 2003 and has held several financial and management positions in the EVRAZ Group. Prior to this appointment Ms Luzik was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the EVRAZ plc International Business Division in Moscow since 2008 and Financial Director of the Vanadium Business Division since 2013.
